do they owe you money too?? I had to book a new flight. Instead of having a 13 hours trip I had a 36 hours one and they lost my bag. I recovered my bag days later, but still, I haven't seen a penny

The thing is they only get you so-called offers for destinations you have no interest in going to.
Plus I have to agree with the others, AF is such a bad airlines - even worse than BA!

Stands to reason. Why would an airline offer a special deal if the destination/route is doing well?

I had an exceptionally positive experience with BA. I was stuck in Tokyo during the Eyjafjallajökull crisis. They organised and paid for transportation (charter buses in Tokyo and Roma), hotel (6 nights in Tokyo, 1 in Roma), rerouting and food.

AF is still much better than AA (American Airlines) though. Its just that AF tends to go on strike sometimes.

There is no amount of discount that would tempt me to fly with the most unethical company in the world. Air France-KLM is the last airline that still transport primates to US laboratories. They are literally the Gateway to Hell. Don't take my word for it. Check out the details here: https://secure.peta.org/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=5423
You may say, they are just "animals" and this is just business, but think about it for a moment: we share 98 % of DNA with some of the primates. That means they suffer just like humans to be tortured in the name of "science". (You can easily find the type of insane and useless experiments they are forced to participate in, but when you consider that they are practically like us, what could justify ANY experiments?). So, is it really worth saving a like 10 francs and travelling with a lousy airline which happens to be immoral too? Btw, there is a worldwide call to boycott them, so I would not be surprised if they were in trouble because of this. More on the boycott here: http://www.gatewaytohell.net/

I am waiting the same. any news?
Has any of you ever flown with Etihad Regional? It looks like the flight Geneva-Zurich is for 48 CHF...ok, it's the earliest flight possible, but still cheaper than a train. Is that even possible?
Anna

Don't mean to go OT here but just a thought: we share 25% of our genes with the wine grape. So this means that they suffer 1/4 as much as a human when they are harvested and crushed. Think about that when you drink a glass of wine. All these poor grapes tortured in the name of oenology!

Moreover, if my recent experience is anything to go with, I'd put United Airlines right there with Air France.

@The OmegaMan, if your line of thought was valid, than why is it that most people (except for psychopats, of course) would choose to watch a grape harvest than the experiments conducted on animals? Furthermore, I have never heard of anyone protesting against grape harvest on ethical grounds or whatsoever, but there are thousands of people all over the world going to the streets to condemn AirFrance's policy to carry our biological relatives to hell.
