Hi all
Thanks for the replies so far. I agree that it's way early at the moment, but I'm one of those who likes to plan a little in advance :-) (Axalp already booked for October)
I am always searching the net for carshows and such, and the most informative site I've found that has links to a number of individual events is the zundung.ch, but that shows nothing before May, so far, it's always being updated.
This year I mainly remained in the northern part of cheese and chocolate land, with events in Wallisellen, Root, and Mutschellen, which were all hill climb type events, but just for show really, still good fun tho :-) I also know that there are usually at least 2 classic car get togethers at the hotel up in Hasenstrick, which I been to3 or 4 times so far, but thats just static cars.
I'll keep updating this forum when I find events I'm going to attend, and always welcome company. I am happy to share petrol, my only problem is my car only has 2 seats, same as the bike :-) But that's not a problem, always a work around.
I've not really tried doing much shooting at snow events so far, will maybe give that a go over winter. If anyone knows nice places for nature shooting during winter, I'm also all ears.
Airshows in Switzerland, I know of a few so far, main one Axalp, but these I have some very good list for if anyone is interested. I'm also doing 3 in UK as well in 2009, so hope it's a good year for the weather.
I'm open to all ideas if someone wants to do a days shooting, just be forwarned, I work irregular shifts, and am only guaranteed 1 weekend a month off, the rest is hit and miss, but it does mean I can get out during week when there are usually less people about :-)
Anyway, if you have any ideas, throw them my way as well please.
Thanks again
Chris
