Hey,
Is there another 'chocolate factory' that's possible to visit. I've got a friend coming over in November and they want to revisit Broc.
I've been there so many times and really want to find another place to take friends from England which of course involves chocolate!

Seb: There is also the Maestrani Chocolate factory in the St. Gallen area. It's far but worth it !
Nir: Broc is a village in the canton de Fribourg. I think it's an hour train ride from the Fribourg train station. And that's where the Famous Cailler Chocolat factory is located at.

Go to Gruyere - it is a great day out. You can visit the chocolate factory, the cheese factory and then walk around the old city and have a fondue.

Last year we also followed this up with a walk down to the airport and went on a 1hr tour in a small prop plane - it was only CHF 200 for three! A really perfect Swiss day.

The chocolate factory in Broc is closed for the remainder of 2009, will re-open in April 2010 (I just called them).
Camille Bloch is also closed, till Easter 2010.
The options for now are:
Bresteneggstrase CH-5033 Buchs
Any others?

There are some "chocolatiers" who organise visits of their small factory.
I would advise you to try Pascoet in Carouge, probably the best one in Genève.

Otherwise, there is also a "festival du chocolat" every year in Versoix, but it takes place at the end of March.
