Any United Nations employees

Has there been any grumblings about the USA making deals at the UN to conceal its targeting of foreign nationals in France and Italy for violence and to otherwise be victims of terrorism? Sorry to ask this more serious question, but its just that Geneva is home to the UN in Europe.

I don't work for the UN (and I only know one single person who actually does).
But if the UN is like any other (political) shop, most that work there (i.e. those with some common sense left) will know better than to comment in a quasi-public forum about such stuff.
Only so much:
You get the politicians you vote for - at the UN and elsewhere.
Please don't complain in this forum ;-)

I'm sorry Rainer that you feel my simple question was a complaint. That must be a translation issue. The reason I was asking was because many high powered Americans brag about controlling the votes of a large number of UN ambassadors to favor American interests.

Swiss is the home of many international institutions because of its so called neutralities. Then, in the political field, everyone seek allies to face its rivalries. Security and national interests makes most of the politic instead of the quest of an international or even universal ethic.
