I hate that posh, ridiculously expensive and unfriendly place. Spent there 5 minutes of my life, 5 too much. If you don't want to see me, run there! ;)

I live here for 35 years now... and I have to tell you that Geneva is usually like that... welcome :P

If you want to have nice party with your friends have a private party or go to Lausanne, is like another country and people have fun in this city... no like Gva...

I went there once...very unfriendly staff, people trying to look posh, expensive drinks...they will not see me anymore!

There 16 reviews about Java in the glocals' Geneva City Guide section.

Personally, I dislike Java. It's all about flashing money and putting on a show, and not about just having wild friendly fun. But then again, I don't know of any other Geneva club that offers a nice night out for folks over 25 in Geneva...Except when there's a Sindy Party ofcourse...:)

I agree with you...this is quite cynical. I wonder what going out and dancing has got to do with being pretty and charming to get drinks.

About Lausanne, I go out there for 16 years now.

Depends which music you like but I think that the best place is mad club (zapoff gallery, floor 3) not too young, friendly and all the time good music.

D club is good too, good sound.

Amnesia is more popular, more young but music not fantastic and is better during summer (you can go out near the lake)

Red club is exactly like Geneva so is not necessary to drive 60 kms for that...:)

But I'm sure that Bypass or Java's people like the red club :P

Everybody can have opinions but sincerly if you go to java you will see ont the face of people that they don't have fun...

A sentence for resume : the best DJs of Europe and sometimes of the world play to lausanne during fridays and saturdays... In Geneva is only Thursdays ;)
