I am thinking about buying a house in France and commute to work in Geneva. Can anyone recommend an english speaking real estate agent that knows their stuff concerning American expats wanting to buy?

yes, contact me by private email and we can discuss this.
we live in evian-les-bains and wouldn't live anywhere else in the world! sweeping statement but france is so much less expensive than switzerland. we'll help all we can.

We used a young man Christophe Battaiston at Sept Quatre Immobilier in Evian. He is charming, not pushy, speaks English, is at present helping English friends sell their house [here in Evian in case you are interested] so hopefully he will be able to help you in the Dept. of Ain. Best to call him at : 04 50 74 32 50

I am reviving this thread to ask the same question 14 years later. We're Americans who are interested in buying something in France (Ain). Does anyone have any local real estate agent recommendations?

we are selling a house located in France, nearby Geneva - easy to commute to Geneva for work.

we work with an agency who could also help but I have to say that our contact does speak English but not very fluently.
