i'm looking to do a Teaching English as a Foreign Language course in view of future volunteer work abroad. I need to do it either evenings/weekends or online. So far I've had a price from one Geneva school for a course two full days a week over three months. I need to work and do this on the side.
Anybody have any ideas about TEFL online? or where to do it in the evenings or even Open University?
any suggestions or advice very welcome

I'm not sure where to do a course here as I already had my certificate when I arrived, but I would be wary of any class that doesn't offer face-to-face teaching experience. This is the thing that you either love or hate about teaching, and it's the thing that's going to be making you the most nervous before your first class so it's important to get a few practice runs.
As far as I know, International House has an excellent reputation.
