Anyone using Bluewin TV
Hi,

Just wondering if anyone is using Bluewin TV - and if so, any comments? Is the quality good? - Is there downtime? And any thing to watch out for in terms of installation? At a glance, it seems a neater solution than putting in a satellite (and we do not have cable in our village) for getting TV in anglais.

Cheers

hey there, i have it since last feb and I love it. i used to watch it much more before but i really like the variety of channels, the english audio, the fact you can record programs ... the quality is good but my flat screen is only 21inches (i think) ... so i don't know how it looks like on bigger screens and i had downtime only tiwce in a year and the image was just a bit pixeled for few secs and then all went back to normal. I highly recommend it (me and a friend watched the rugby world cup in english comfy at home :D

Last year installation needed to be 'booked' few weeks in advance ... (it was just been launched when i got it and it took me 4 weeks to get the box and the installation) might be better now.

Hope it helps

Thanks - that helps. I was a bit nervous about "buffering" from my experience with free internet TV sites such as yattoo and joost. But I guess you get what you pay for in the free services.
