Hi

I'm looking for someone who might have worked in the world of politics/policy or who is still in that field. It doesn't have to be straightforward politics as in being a politician, it could also mean being involved in research, policy advisor, think tanks, etc.

Basically I'm interested in working in this field and would be really interesting on hearing from someone who has already worked in politics and has some experience. How did you get into it? What do you recommend to someone who wants to go down this path? What is it like as a career? Etc.

I'm happy to receive replies either via this forum post, which could be really interesting, or by PM.
