There is another well-known and well-subscribed to forum for those living in or near Switzerland. It is heavily patronised daily but imho ithe remarks and postings are becoming more and more agressive, more snide, more one-upmanship and sometimes downright rude. Ergo, very thankful that I have found this website and bravo to the posters who are more than helpful and don't "groan" unnecessarily. Thank you for an excellent site.

The "groans" make it to glocals too, but not too often, gladly...(-:
But seriously, the 2 key differences between us and between most other site, are (we think):
- we're less about the forums, and more about doing real activities together with real people.
- we're trying to ensure the place is friendly, and when someone is obviously is not in that mindset, we kick his/her ass.
