I looked at the eyes..still only got 13/20.I also reckon i was looking to hard at the dodgy hairstyles!!

Haha, hilarious...
I think we're quite a strong team, we all scored more than 10/20... so let's go out soon and celebrate our "good" scores or, go completely crazy at a pub quizz, each one of us secretely hoping that there will be a category called "Spot the fake smiles" :-D
Whatever happens, the "A-Team" (us) will deserve a drink, right? ;-)

after reading the thread... i paid so much attention to the eyes i don't think i really looked at their mouths. in cases where i did, i noticed teeth that could use a little work, so discriminated against those ones. the last one looked like this guy i know called robin and i was quite convinced that robin could never do a fake smile, even if he were computer generated. but it turned out he could -- that's the last time i trust him.
of course, i did have the unfair advantage of having read the whole thread, so i guess i got a bit of help. but 16/20 is respectable. tinkie and Sakto, on the other hand went before any tips had been posted. which may go some way towards explaining why their results are hardly an improvement upon tossing a coin ;)

Would like to have a go at this but get a window saying have to update my netscape browser. How do I obtain this please? Can anyone please give me a link? (Am a bit computer/ technically challenged at times..!! :-O
I have Safari as a browser, a Mac computer and all my flash software etc are apparently up to date.

OK, it really doesn't work in Safari (OS X Intel, 10.5.6).
But you can still take the test.
I got 9/20 even without being able to look at the faces, just randomly clicking "genuine" or "fake"
