Can someone recommend me where to find belly dance classes for beginners in Geneva? Preferably near Gare Corbavin/Pâquis. Starting in June. Thanks!

Hi Sandra,
There is certainly a belly dance class near Gare Cornavin. One of my (girl) friends used to attend it. I will write her now and if she replies will let you know.

You should look for "danse orientale" as it's called in the local lingo.
At the dance fest a week ago, there were several sessions of belly dancing, given by local schools. The two that put their web pages on the programs are:

Thanks for all the replies. It seems to me that all the courses are offered after summer (september) and I was really looking forward to take classes in June/July. Anyway, thanks!

Well, you can take classes in June/July, as far as I know, Jana Dance Center has open doors end of June or beginning July, you can go to any class, I think the fee is 25.- Not sure though, better check with the school.
