My neighboor had his flat robbed. Burglars break into his house and broke everything, as it is very common in Geneva. I would like to know if someone has any experience in placing those "safety bars/barre de securité" and if this really solved the problem. I would also appreciate if someone can recommend a professional that does this kind of service.

A friend of mine had them fitted in his flat and they were pretty effective, although never 100% I also think you need permission from your regie before having them fitted.

My flat was broken into and I had a security bar fitted. I think it helps to discourage burglars. Very nice man came from:
