I'm going to Barcelona for the first time for a long weekend, 13 to 16 May. Anybody from there or that knows the city well and can recommend things to do, bars/clubs to go out?
Thanks,
Catalin

Although I haven't been myself, I'd definitely go to the Nou Camp. Football fan or not, it's apparently a spectacular site to see!

Hello,
I don't know a lot but would suggest you to buy those tours bus pass during the day.
there are many things to see there and they are not close to each other, so its good cause you can use as a tour thing and transportation
they have a bus stop in every sign seeing place and bus coming every 5/10 minutes. I don't know the name of the company but there is a pic here: http://imgpe.trivago.com/uploadimages/68/68/686876_l.jpeg
you just go to plaza da Catalunya and you will find them there, its usually full so would suggest to go early.
the places I think you should not miss is the classicals: park guell, sagrada familia, Miro museum, la pedrera, walk a little on las hamblas, Gothic Quarter etc...
at night you could go to bars at the Gothic quarter as well, Barceloneta used to be good but I believe its a bit touristic now.. another touristic place is the port (I guess the old one), its full of restaurants, bar and you can eat a lot of sea food there.
not a specialist but I hope it helps :)
