Best Chips?

So I am really craving some british style chips. You know, the kind you eat from a paper bag lathered in vinegar on a nice windy beach.  I am welsh and grew up near chippy alley in cardiff so could actually also really enjoy some cheese and chips too. I think that I am unlikely to find either here, I have heard of the place in nyon which has great reviews but I am wondering if there is anywhere anyone can recommend in geneva?

If any one has any recommendations I would be truly grateful. I just really have this craving for them and its been weeks!

Thank you in advance, if you do it will literally make my week! (and my boyfriends I am sure since I keep going on about chips)

I hope you all have a great weekend :)

They don't know what chips are here... You could start a fondue and chips shop!

but, not sure if they even have the right potatoes- preferably Maris Piper

cook them twice at two different temperatures, in sunflower oil.

but we all know, fried in fat, is the best......and soooo healthy :-)Foot in Mouth

the chips served at zooburger are not bad, or even bleu lezard ( lausanne)

You could also save all your 5-centime pieces and pop over to the UK once a month for a weekend binge.

How about Jim's?  He has supermarkets in St Genis (with small restaurant) and in Gland.  He's Irish and must know all about chips ... :-)

To the best of my knowledge, Jim is a proud Ulsterman.
