Consumer fraud alert

Heads up out there--we tried to buy a washer and dryer from Maxidiscount in Geneva--we got a good deal and put a 200 CHF deposit on a Bosch washer and dyer.  The day they were supposed to deliver they said that the washer and dryer we had bought had been damaged (!) and offered to sell us something much more expensive with a 100 CHF discount or a set that was considerably less less expensive but lower quality.  

Classic bait and switch maneuver--we opted out on principle.  

Caveat emptor--buyer beware!
