Bicycle storage/maintenance

Hello everybody

I'm quite new in the bicycle world, and I'm not really informed; I will keep it stored in the cellar during the winter season, is there any special procedure or attention to do for maintaining it for these few months ?

Thanks

Fabrizio

The only thing I would suggest is keeping an eye on the tires, add some air so they don't go flat. Other than that, keeping the thing dry and indoors is a lot better treatment than my bicycle gets (it sits outside literally under a bridge in Amsterdam, sometimes for a month or two or three, until I need it again - like tomorrow!) and you should normally not have to worry about anything.
