What are you looking for in prenatal care Serena? In Switzerland you can choose OB-led prenatal care & hospital birth or midwife-led prenatal care & home, birth house or hospital birth.
All OBs have different ways of working also (some like a lot of interventions, others are more open to letting nature take its course).

Hi Michelle, I'm looking for an ob-led hospital birth. I had to have an emergency c-section for my last birth and was told by my present doctor that another c-section may be the way to go. Any suggestions? Thank you for your help.

Hi Serena,
I'll reply to you privately!
For those reading this thread, do pop in with recommendations for Serena.
What I'll say here is that "once a cesarean always a cesarean" isn't evidence-based practice, so if you are interested in vaginal birth, it is important to find an OB or independent midwife that is supportive of this choice.

Hi Serena,
I can recommend you my doctor, Dr. Semir Arslanagic from the Groupe Medicale Champel. He speaks good English (and many other languages), is very calm, helpful and reassuring. I found him based on the recommendations on glocals and am very happy with him.
Good luck!
Ela.
