All right this is a bit technical but i am growing tired of my palm treo 680 and have decided to get myself a blackberry. Checked out some websites and i came down to two models. Either the blackberry pearl or the 8800. the pearl has this weird sure type keyboard, has anyone an idea if this is practical? i wouldn´t mind having a bigger model since i carry my louis with me all the time anyway.
so, which one would you guys recommend?

I tried to move over to a blackberry 8703, but I could not stand no touchscreen in the end, I use it way to much and not having it was simply impossible for me to work as I used to with remote services.
What problems do you have with the 680? I user Chatteremail and it is very solid in my experience, working as good or better than the blackberry phones.

The pearl, 8800, moto Q, samsung blackjack(don't know if it is there in EU yet) are all slimmer and trimmer phones, look a lot better. The 680 took a step up without the big antenna but otherwise is exactly the same with exception of the added memory.

it's not the height of design, but it works really well for the web, incl typing long messages.
