My husband and I live around the corner from Boccalino's in Carouge. We've always been frequent eaters there, and have made sure to tip generously to keep the positive experience going for the last two years. We've highly recommended the food and service . . .until now.
Last night, we realized something was different . . . the waitstaff has completely changed. Gone are the experienced waitstaff who know how to treat customers - especially regulars. Now there are a bunch of teenage boys who obviously hate their jobs, and blatantly enjoy making the customers wait. They pissed off basically everyone at Boccalino's last night, and would huddle around laughing about it instead of working. What a shame - Boccalino's used to be a great place to feel welcome - not anymore.
