Brits living in France

For those who might be worried by the upheaval of the last few days and the on-going Brexit fiasco, a new organisation has been formed which is free to join, and to which one can subscribe to keep informed of what is going on from our point of view. As follows :

https://www.remaininfrance.org/

Hope this might be of help to anyone who is worried regarding their future status

Thank you Sheila - but most of us on glocals (I'm assuming.....) would be more interested in a RIST (or "RESIST"!!!!!) for Brits living in Switzerland (following the "fuckwittery" that is Brexit) who are allowed to live and work here because we have a UK/EU Passport.  Any info on this would be much appreciated!

UK nationals in Switzerland

The Withdrawal Agreement does not cover you if you are a UK national living in Switzerland. The UK is seeking to secure the same protections for UK nationals living in Switzerland as for UK nationals living in the EU, on a reciprocal basis, through an agreement with Switzerland.

and

EU exit: what you need to know

There will be no change to the rights and status of UK nationals living in Switzerland while the UK remains in the EU.

While the government continues to negotiate EU exit, you should:

make sure you’re correctly registered as resident in Switzerland
read UK nationals in the EU: essential information
follow your local British Embassy on Facebook and Twitter
sign up for email alerts on living in Switzerland

There's probably no cause for alarm - it's all the sabre-rattling going on which is unsettling. Keep smiling
