Hi David,

If you'd like on option to do it online try...

http://www.liberty-wealth.com

Simly register for the service and compare the rates on offer. I fully agree with Shaun that there are better ways to do an fx transfer than through your bank.

Hope this is of use.

There is also xe.com, you can watch the market rate and use its service, but you have to register (free). PostFiance is a good bank. Its rate stays for 24 hours. It costs SF2 to do a regular transfer, but there is a third party charge for wire transfer. In Geneva, some change service give you a card, then you can get a better rate. The rate is better if you change more than 1000. With the card, you get a better rate even though you change less than 1000.

Hi Siddarth,

it's free to register, use and the only charge is the spread between the market rate and the rate you are given. Also they don't charge onward transfer fees. Your own bank may make charges for sending or receiving money of course.

Any technical queries on specifics email them directly or give them a call, details on the website, and I'm sure they'd you help you out.

Kind regards,

Don
