This is the regulations, as long as you don't damage the grass or surrounding areas you should be fine, I did barbecues every sunday last year in parc de la grange, no probs. If the parc doesn't explicitly say no bbq's then no probs as long as you respect the rules

There's a public bbq spot in Meyrin next to the football fields, the barbeques aren't much but the park is nice
