Dear all,


I need your help with some recommendations for a garage which is not expensive. I have been qouted a price of 650 CHF for the front disc and brake pad replacement for my mini cooper 2003. Unfortunately, I am not sure if the price is justified or not ? I have been told that the garages in France close to Geneva are much cheaper than the one here. Can you please help me out with some recommendations for the garages in Vaud or in France, who are honest and trustworthy ?

Hello Himank,

It is true that it is cheaper in France, but I feel like they're not very honest. I'm saying this because I have a scooter, and I've had my scooter worked on both in France and Switzerland and when work was done in France a few months later my engine did not work...so sometimes it's better to pay a little bit more for quality work and honesty.

I could recommend a garage in Geneva called "Garage Dynamic" - +41 22 328 68 33
You can ask for a quote, explain your issue and tell them you're coming from me. I know them quite well so maybe they can make you a deal.

Thanks Nastassia, I would surely call them up and give your reference. You are right, indeed at the end its the quality of work that matters. I would wait for their reply and compare the two qoutes.  Hopefully it can work out. Thanks once again.
