Hi Guys
have anyone gone through car driving test in Geneva? Whic route they normally take? I know the examiner can take you anywhere but they do have some typical routes. Any pointers or which route you went for test would be good help

there is a number of "priorite de droit" near plainpalais and they often go there.
Otherwise, area close to the Bureau d'Autos.
It may be worth to take at least couple of lessons with the professional teacher.
Cheaper then repeating the exam. You know that afer 3 failures they send you to see the psy...

I would be soon giving my practical driving exam in Lausanne. It would be nice, if you could let me know the typical driving test routes around Lausanne. This would be really helpful for me. Thanks in advance.

I took my driving exam in Lausanne over ten years ago. From what I remember we went up and down the ramp at Lausanne Blecherette before driving on the road for a bit. After this we headed towards the motorway and they wanted to make sure that we could get on to the motorway at the right speed. I seem to remember having to park but I don't remember which one.
They will tell you where they want you to go and you use road signs to find the right course.
I am sorry that I cannot be more precise.

Go around Carouge and Eaux Vives for the zone 20/30 practice and then maybe to the little hamlets around Geneva.

Thanks a lot for the information. I plan to take some driving lessons and also I would practice on my own car. Hope this would give me ample practice and fimilarise me with rules and regulations. I have already driven during the first year when my license was valid so it should be ok but then they are always stories where the best of the car drivers have failed to pass the test. Let's hope everything goes well.
