1st you need an appointment (rendez-vous technique)

2nd you can modify or cancel these rendez-vous over the website.

If yu don't come to a rendez-vous you have to pay it anyway

Thank you for the info.

The problem is that the closest available date for the rendez-vous is 07.08.2008 but I HAVE TO pass it BEFORE 30.07.2008. So is it still OK if I pass it a week later?

I think what matters in the first place is that you fixed a rendez-vous (RV) and that you printed out the document which testifies this - usually there is a statement in this letter which qualifies you to drive until the RV date.

Check it out. If still uneasy reach out for the phone, but be ready to be able to say when is your RV ;-)
