Don't know if they made it a movie, I will be doing a lot of reading about J.D Salinger and "Catcher" over the weekend, will let you know if I find out about a movie.  BTW the pizza stone is working a treat.

They have not made a movie. From a 2009 article:

"Salinger has not been willing to talk [about Catcher], he has not given any interviews and he has refused to sell the movie rights to the book, which Stephen Spielberg among others have been very eager to get his hands on," said Colting. "He lives like an hermit." Salinger is today 90 years old.

So I read and it..............and what a read, I had only heard of it before and had never read a line, it was on my list of things to read, glad i did though.  I return the copy to my friend tomorrow but now have a PDF copy thanks to another Glocal member (thanks V).

Will make sure I take more time out to read books on my "list of books to read",

watch out Dickens here I come..........

Ciao for now! and thanks for the all the PM's and e-mails.

P.S J are you still reading it, or have you finsihed it....come on slow poke.
