Chalet NOT in a ski resort for Xmas / New Year

Hi All,

Would like to get away from Geneva over Xmas and New Year with the family to the mountains, but, we dont particularly want to ski - so looking for a nice chalet without the Ski season premium!

Does anybody knwo of anywhere, or have suggestions to look? Google only gives me pages and pages of ski resorts places...

Last year my husband and I with some friends and their kids stayed at a 'Gite' over the holidays. We rented our cabin in the Haute Savoy with a view of Mont Blanc every day. Had a lot of fun. Here is the website in english if you're interested. They have places all over France to rent.
