Hi there!

I have a question. I am about to move to a different canton than my current, at my gf's place. We have already talked to the landlord and they are going to prepare a new contract where both of us are in. However they cannot do it, due to lack of time, before May, 16th. But my old contract will end on April, 30th. Of cource I will move in to my gf from end of April, but what am I gonna do with the district offices? Should I simply de-register from the old canton and register in the new one after 16.05 and tell them that's when I moved-out? Or something else? I am a bit afraid what they'll say if they find out I was 15 days without contract.

Any ideas?
