Cheap(ish) haircut

The time has finally arrived when I need to bite the gold-plated bullet and get my hair cut. I realise that cheap haircuts and unicorns are about equally common in Geneva, even without adding on the surcharge for being female with long hair. All I'm looking for is a basic trim - any suggestions for somewhere which speaks a little English and won't demand a limb or my firstborn in return?

Where are you located ? There are numerous little salons in Chene-Bourg/Thonex where you can get a good cut from 20-45 Chf.

I'm in Paquis, although I'm happy to travel within the TPG range. The main thing is that they speak a little English, as I don't want to take a chance on my dodgy French and end up with a buzz cut! Wink

I'm sure I've seen several places in Pâquis doing cheap haircuts (around 30-40CHF) although I can't name a specific address - I think one is close to place de la Navigation. If you go for a walk in Pâquis you'll find one. Just be aware that these cheap-ish places are often run by Spanish or Italians - so don't expect English. But for a basic haircut you should be fine.
