Went to "Chez Jacky" a restaurant behind "22 Cantons" next to Cornavin [http://map.search.ch/1201/rue-necker-9?poi=all]. Initial reception was polite if a bit cold - but the service quickly warmed up and we (4 persons) had a truely excellent evening there. It's game-season and their "Menu Chasse" is really excellent, as well as their desert buffet - which came as something of a surprise as my experience - even in good restaurants - is that the chef usually loses concentration when it comes to making deserts. Definitely a place to re-visit. Prices-wise it is not cheap - but I though it was worth all of it (we paid around 130 CHF per person for full menu and wine).
