Coaching meet-up ... build on the discussion about life coaching / life coaches

Since the post on life coaches become such hot topic let’s meet and talk about it. :w00t:

It’d be interesting to meet with coaches, people interested in coaching and/or being coached to discuss the concept and various approaches to it.

Not exclusively life coaching - open to divers coaching areas / specializations.

If you are interested in a “coaching meet-up”, drop a line and I’ll set a date on Members Activities section.

Free life coaching tip dedicated to those frustrated or doubting :hehe:

The WOW Story

I was walking in a park. A short distance ahead of me was a mom and her daughter. The little girl was holding on to a string that was attached to a helium balloon. All of a sudden, a sharp gust of wind took the balloon from the little girl. I braced myself for some screaming and crying.

But, no! As the little girl turned to watch her balloon go skyward, she gleefully shouted out, "Wow!" :w00t:

Later that day, I received a phone call from a person with news of an unexpected problem. I felt like responding with "Oh no, what should we do?" But remembering that little girl, I found myself saying, "Wow, that's interesting! How can I help you?"

One thing's for sure -- life's always going to keep you off balance with its unexpected problems. That's a given. What's not preordained is your response. You can choose to be frustrated or fascinated.

No matter what the situation, a fascinated "Wow!"  :w00t: will always beat a frustrated "Oh, no."

So the next time you experience one of life's unexpected gusts, remember that little girl and make it a "Wow!" experience. The "Wow!" response always works.

Completely agree on that and thanks for the posting Anushka!

I would call it experiences and not problems.

So I’m calling for an OPEN, INFORMAL and FRIENDLY Coaching Meet Up on Thursday, 4th June evening.

Who is out there interested in any kind of life coaching: transformational, personal, professional, love, business, etc?  Interested to meet, talk and learn about coaching rather than just post miscellaneous comments?

I’m a life coach myself but it’s one of many life projects of mine so I take it more as a hobby than a profession. I want to meet people of similar interests.

Whether you are a coach or a person interested in coaching, being coached or simply learn more about the coaching concept let’s meet and discuss.

:w00t: Interested? Just drop a line.
