I hope someone can put my mind at rest. A couple of weeks ago I applied for my work permit.
i was worried that it was taking some time and thinking there are a problem.
anyway today I have recieved a letter from villa de gland asking me to
"Retirer permit" now I know it means remove permit. But does mean pick up the permit or it's been rejected. Can anyone help or know what it means.

In the context, « retirer » means « to remove from » so you are being asked to take away the permit. In other words, the permit is ready for you to collect!
