Hi people, could someone tell me if they give the vignette and stamp directly, or they send via post? Are the car plate numbers written on the vignette?

Ours was done recently. Immediately the control is finished, the stamp is given immediately [not sent by post] and numbers are printed on together with the date when the next test is due. Hope this helps.

They give you the stamp just after the test is over, and only if the car is fine and does not require major security repair. If the car does not pass all the tests, then you don't get the stamp but a paper does says you have 2 months to have the repairs done.
