Converting 2 x VHS tapes to digital

Does anyone know of a 'service' that can take 2 VHS tapes i have and put them onto a CD/DVD for me (or memory stick etc). I only have 2 x VHS and buying a VHS player plus the cabling etc to plug into my computer is quite bit of hassle i think? The VHS are home made and sentimental from family. Failing that - anyone got an old VHS player i could buy/borrow/hire etc

many thanks, i will look into both options - also will try visit a few 2nd hand shops to see if they have a cheap VHS player that i could get and rig that to my computer
