Cow fighting??
I remember hearing about this months ago and thinking "We've GOT to see thing!!" I then forgot about it until I saw a fellow expat's blog post about going to one of these fights in Valais 2 weeks ago. I'm trying to find info online, but to no avail... Are we too late already? Are there still cow fights going on this year, or will we have to wait till next spring?

Thanks!

I heard several times about the cow fighting thing...and there's also an annual cow-queen that is crowed each year as the fight winner! But I do not know where / how to find the actual fighting event...

Well worth it, too! Was just teasing Marcy, for my own selfish pleasure. Felt great too.

anyone do this in the middle of the night?? I know... it's not very nice, and you can also seriously hurt the cows.. but if you're going to make them fight each other, what's a little nudge off their feet? ^_^

why not go see the annual toiletbowl-throwing contest in somewhere-UK, or the catchi-the-cheese-rollingdown-the-hill event in somewhere-Europe where several people seriously hurt themselves... The possibilities of 'unique GOL Members-Activities' are endless.

Hello,
Most "queen cow" fightings took place in the spring.
But still there is :
12 of august : "combat de reines" in Eischoll (valais)
23 of september: In Raron-Goler (valais)
