I am very new in Geneva, i find it a wonderful city, i have gone to some clubs and functions though not all and listened to several Radion stations.
I am sad to note that most of the Deejays play very bad music, i wonder if they ever listen to their Radio stations which play wonderful disco like music which can keep you on your toes!
To the contrary they play some funny stuff(call it scruffy or what?) mettalic songs which leave revellers shaking their heads in dismay and going home early.
Three wonderful occassions have been spoilt by deejays who dont seem to read the patrons mood, where do they get their music from?
When i go to a Disco i go there to listen and dance to good music, soul, Reggae, Ragga, Rock etc(something that can tempt me to stand and dance! see?) but it seems most of our Geneva DJs go to the same school of thought that patrons dont matter.
The spring party DJ was good but not the standard of music i expected there(far way below his contemplaries in other serious European cities), am sorry the Geneva DJs have to improve, we have good music in the International arena, where do the DJS get theirs from?

There are many many DJs in Geneva with very many different styles, some bad, some of the best I know. So you've been to a couple of events and heard one or two DJs. Don't put all the DJs in the same basket, as not all play electronic music, a lot do play current hits as well.
