I saw:
- 1 shooting star that was so bright it could have been -- and probably was -- a firework
- about 8 shooting stars that were in front of the trees (illuminated insects)
- 1 shooting star that was a satellite
- about 20 shooting stars that were aircraft
- loads of stars that were shooting stars but when you looked properly they were stationary
- 3 or 4 shooting stars that were definite, convincing shooting stars
total haul: loads of shooting stars.

Yes!! just came back to my place. saw 11 in a span of 40 mins. If you can see stars, sky's clear. just be patient. look north.
