Do you believe this ?
Do you guys believe this ? I read in a history book that there was a time when GOL/Glocals didn’t exist! (some even say that there was a time when there were no computers. Ha ha ha! What a joke ! Without a PC, how would Flaubert have written Madame Bovary ? With his feet?)
As people from this remote era left no posts on the forums, we can only guess how their life was like. Did people walk around all day long with signs on their back: “join me for a grilled mammoth at 7 pm at the Lascaux cave”? If they were doing this all day long, when did they find the time to hunt the mammoth?
You can examine the problem under any angle, there is no solution. Let’s hope further historical studies will shed some light on this dark age! Any leads ?

don't know. maybe they just didn't go into forward planning that much...

as for Flaubert... apparently, some people can write with their hands. beats me how they do it, but by using something called ink, they managed. wonder what exactly they did with the ink, though. i mean, in Lascaux, they generally applied it onto walls in a pattern, but that'd make one huge book, don't you think?

;)
