Does Love really exist?

They do say that love is strange, and that there is a very thin line between Love and Hate. That love goes deeper than the mere last feelings which escape through the window when disaster strikes through the front door.

Some have said that love stinks, and a myth for that matter, that exisits in the pigment of our imaginations when we say we are in "love".

When you say that you love someone today, and yet you dont love(hate) the same  person tomorrow, then where did the "love" go?

I wanna know if indeed there is an infinite store house somewhere, where nature temporarily stores our love such that whover who is able to tap the same within our own wavelengths then we say we are in love with the same person. At the same time if the wavelengths  of you two differ then you no longer love one another?

That love needs two of you to tap from the infinite store house using the same wavelength, for you the two of you to stay in love?

Ever heard of " I used to love him/her and not any more?" Please let me know.

Interesting subject.

Gichana: are you talking about love between a man and a woman only or the agapé greek word type (unconditional love)?

According to the last post, it seems that love is alot about "feeling". I believe that what we "feel" as a human being does not always reflect the "reality". I think that true love is a choice, something conscious, not something that just "happens". Everyday when you wake up, you basically choose to love (or not) your partner. Sometimes you "feel" good, and sometimes not, but you can make that decision. The fact that "you can't explain why you are together" seems hard for me to understand, can you explain more? It would be interesting to know if couples which have been married 30 years and are still in love with each other (yes, this exists!) precisely know or not why they are together.
