Does it have to be inconvenient?
Have you watched Al Gore's documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" yet? If not then please do so soon. Now is a good time as it's on the shelves of Geneva's DVD rental places - if you've got a free evening then why not rent it?

I've posted this in the General forum rather than the movies/books one as I'm not asking for any comment or review of the film itself. During the closing credits it lists many things that each of us can do to contribute to reducing global warming. One of those things is to encourage others to see the film. So that's what I'm doing.

Global warming IS a serious problem that concerns ALL of us. We need to start changing the way we do things, from the very smallest things to the very biggest things.

I wonder how GenevaOnline could play a part in increasing awareness of the issues raised by the film? Here in Switzerland attitudes towards the issue of global warming and environmental issues in general certainly seem to be more progressive than elsewhere, but that doesn't mean we can't all do more.

And that's all I have to say. I don't particularly want to engage in a discussion or debate on this forum, but if you have thoughts, comments or suggestions, by all means post them.
Thanks for listening...

If you have seen the film, then why not tell a few others to watch it?
