The dogs of Carouge and Acacias obviously had their christmas dinners early this year, as the place is awash with dogshit. Yes, even more than usual.
Geneva is the only place in Switzerland where this is deemed acceptable. Excepy by me.

True! I have been to many cities around the world and I am a dog owner (even here I have a dog) and have never seen so much "shit" all over.. on the grass in the parks, on pavements, etc...
Even during broad daylight there are owners which simply just walk away when their dog does it's thing... and even when the bags are available everywhere!
This is why we have problems then with landlords, etc since they think that we are all the same and do not clean after out pets.

People walking three or four dogs are usually dog-walkers and most often they are responsible citizens who ensure that their charges “perform” where it’s permissible and then clean up after them.

Hi David...I am dog owner (2 of) in Chene-Bourg and I have to say it doesn't appear to be a problem here...not sure why but I am yet to see anyone not pick up. I agree tho that it is a problem it seems in other areas and something I personally cannot abide by.
