Can anyone confirm any open Via Ferratas within a 2-3 hour drive of Lausanne? Saix de Miolène (Chapelle d'Abondance) is OPEN except for the final two sections which are closed for falcon nesting until early July. We've been calling tourism offices and finding that they're all closed for another 4-6 weeks. Closed ferratas at 2100 meters elevation is understandable but routes under 1000 meters really ought to be open (cough Fort l'Ecluse cough). thx all

I found one that is open!

Approx 150km from Morges in France. Not too far from Annecy. According their website it is open all year.

In a few weeks I'll start doing the weekday events where I leave Nyon at 16h, pick up people from the Airport at 1620h, cross the border at CERN, and do this ferrata twice (it's short enough to walk to the bottom and do it a 2nd time before it gets too dark). Awesome workout.
