Ebookers and the glocals discount

So, am I doing something wrong here? I went to the ebookers.ch site from the link in the Exlusive Offers section. I also went to ebookers.ch the regular way as well and kept windows open side by side. The prices that were quoted were actually *more* for an identical trip when I went through glocals. In fact for a trip from Oct 5 through Oct 17 from GVA to San Francisco is 1417 CHF via glocals, and 1137 CHF without. Is there some code or something that I need to be putting in? What am I doing wrong? I need to book this trip in the next couple of days so any guidance would be appreciated.

  1. Go to the "Forums" tab

  2. Select the "Search in forums" function (top right)

  3. type "ebookers" as search argument

  4. Result: List ot relevant threads

  5. Most relevant result: E-Bookers Exclusive offer

The Ebookers glocals discount price is only shown once you reach the actual booking page (right before being asked to pay)

Usually when I  make my bookings on Ebookers I get the Glocals discount but two days ago I  used ebookers to rent a car and I did not get any discount.

Thanks for the quick response guys. And no, I didn't reach the pay page. I was still at the part where the different fares come up. I'll try and go through until before the pay page. But it's still weird that the difference between the identical trip with and without glocals is about 400 CHF. So...even with the 5% discount it'll be more than the regular no exclusive offer fare. Guess I'll just book it via ebookers and not go through the exclusive offers page if this doesn't work, i.e., going through almost until the payment page.

I just booked a flight on the new ebookers website, and the even thou I clicked on the offer banner here, and then went through the whole process I did not get asked for the glocals discount. Is the offer still valid? The price I got was quite a good one, but not different then if I were a normal user ....

Could you pls just tell me which flights you booked, and how much money it cost, either on the forum on on private email?

Ebookers is also working on fixing the current prob with the discount, so everything should be working ok again in a few hours.
