Electrician for internet switch on

Hi folks

Can anyone recommend an electrician to install a new internet set up? Will have router and tv box shortly but provider is insistant an electrician is needed to get the thing up and running.

Also any idea of cost? Will have other electrical stuff to do at some point, so could do with a recommendation for a good guy.

Thanks

We got Swisscom installed in our place, the previous owners had only moved out two weeks before and they also had swisscom so I couldn't understand why we needed an electrician to "plug in the router"..

Anyway - I let swisscom arrange the electrician becuase like many things here, it wasn't optional !  So the electrician and an apprentice duely arrived precisely on time at 8am two days later.  The apprectice plugged a decive into the phone socket in the house, the electrician left the house and appeared five minutes later and checked the device..  We're all done he said and they left.

We got a bill from the electrician about a month later with a breakdown of time spent, travelling time, his cost and the apprentice cost. Total was 102chf.

I think they actually did fuk all.. But hey.. Anybody know what they are supposed to be doing??

PS -- I was an elecrician in a previous life worked on phones too.. I know they had no access to the 'electrics room' here and I know five minutes was not enough time to go to the exchange to do something and I know the sockets were at least connected in the house.. I think the guy actually went to his van, called swisscom and said - ok turn it on now.

I'd say it's a Swiss variant of the closed shop.
