I am having bad luck looking to replace an AC power adapter ("wall wart"). I've looked through the local "tech" stores like Interdiscount.
What I need is an 12v-15v 400-800ma AC/AC plug.... I've scoured Salvation Army and stores like it, but it's all DC.

Is it OK to splice your own plug onto the cable? If so, I might have something around here. AC/AC is rare indeed.

I would be ok with that. It's for a synthasizer module. I think I blew my power supply, but I am not certain yet.
