English PHD / Law programs in Geneva (IR, NGO)

I am looking at some doctorate programs as well as law.. does anyone attend one in Geneva that they can offer some insight about?  Would love to hear your experience, thoughts, as well as ones you would recommend avoiding.

My school does not go above the masters level

Currently I have a B.A. - Political Science & a B.A. - Philosophy M.A. - International Relations (completed July), M.A.-  International NGO (Completed Spring 2012)...So I am considering schools for fall 2012

Thank you =)

Not necessarily..But I'd prefer to stay in Geneva or Lausanne, as I would like to ultimately have my career in this region.  I've studied in the Netherlands near the Hague which was a lovely experience, and perfectly suitable for my law studies.

I am looking at some PHD programs in case I have problems finding a suitable job with the experience I have because if I'm unemployed I' prefer to utilize my time wisely and further my education, plus it ensures my residence permit will be extended.  I also need to seriously start improving my atrocious French.

I was originally going to get my masters degree in Paris but changed back to Webster at the last moment.  I love the American University of Paris but unfortunately they do not go any higher than a masters program.

I have left Switzerland 5 times but I've always come back ;).. I think this time it's official.  This expensive lakeside wonderland is my home. .

ok... now I get it...

if you intend to live in the area for the rest of your life:-)) ... and your French is as atrocious as you name it...

have you heard of the intensive french lang courses offered by the various univ in CH ??  Registration is probably opening just now for the summer.

Thennnn.... once you get over that hump ... of your atrocious french:.)... you would have more doors opening at French speaking univ ??

You probably already explored these avenues... but just leaving my 2 pence, in case...

cheers!
