I once asked him on behalf of a friend if he speaks English and he said he'd manage. 

Btw I once went to the dentist in GVA because it was very urgent, and got it reimbursed by the sécurité sociale in France. 

Thanks for that :-). First thing Monday morning I'm going to have to run around and find a dentist - I'm in quite a bit of pain! My french is not yet adequate enough to describe whats wrong with my tooth lol :-)

This is a list of dentists in FV.  You could phone and ask whether the dentist speaks English ...
