Hi!
I have been in the greater Lausanne/Vevey area for about 7 months now and its time I visit a doctor for annual checkup. Does anyone know of an english speaking general practicioner or internal medicine doctor?

Hi, I recently had to find a doctor as well. I found one that was good and speaks well English, so do his assistants.

Ditto - found a lovely (Asian/English/married to Swiss) Doc in Nyon - Dr Anita Newton Letovanec -- 022 362 1700 - right by the station. She's really nice, but thorough. Speaks English like its mother tongue. She'll refer you to other English speaking specialists (Gynie/Gastro etc) and is also a qualified Acupuncturist (covered on most compulsory health schemes).
Heads up - when you claim back from the insurance co - you need to word it as a "consultation" - "check ups" aren't covered (for some bizarre reason!).

No worries - Dr Antoine Calvy - 022 361 68 21 - Grand Rue 9, Nyon - [email protected]. Very nice, speaks very good English and rather gorgeous! What's not to like!
