Event put as commercial, isn't

Hello. After having organized several activities, I'd like to be clarified about a point.

When I organize an activity, having no financial interest or put any personal investment in it, a limited amount of participants and the exhibit entry is free, can it still be called a commercial event ? I'm asking this because this event seems to has been changed as such, and people could get the wrong idea:

Am I misunderstanding something ?

I guess your question should really be addressed to the site admin.

Probably a mistake. Doesn't look commercial to me.

Any event that is for free , or even where there is an entry fee does not have to go into the commercial event section.

It does not appear to be a commercial event on my screen. Maybe you put it under commercial in error.

There is a simple solution to place the event again , and make sure in under the non commercial events.

If your event was moved by the admin, they would write and tell you that, and why.

I hope this helps.

It was marked as a commercial event, when I posted it. Seems they have changed it back since.

Yup, I contacted the admin and I clarified the problem. I think my commercial education made the descriptive look like I was just marketing an event, not making a group activity. Problem solved. Laughing
